About Teresa
As well as launching Nailbiz, Teresa is the founder of London-based 'Nails at Work' and pioneer of the exclusive 'mobile nail bar' set-up. With a string of awards under her belt she has most recently won Nail Professional of the Year at the 2009 Professional Beauty Awards.
Also a highly sought after session manicurist Teresa arrives with her own custom-made desk, lamp, towels and full range of the hottest new nail products including customised Minx nail designs and fabulous matte finish polishes. Teresa also offers colour blending with a vast collection of over 100 nail polishes displayed on bespoke hand painted colour palettes. With such an eye for detail it's no surprise Tatler proclaimed "her manicures are immaculate" in a 2008 press article.
Teresa has worked with top photographers including Ellen von Unwerth, Alexi Lubomirski, Rankin, Dusan Reljin, Mikael Jansson and Horst Diekgerdes to name a few. Teresa's work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Vogue UK, Harper's Bazaar, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Dazed Japan, Esquire and GQ. Advertising campaigns include Wella, Häagen-Dazs, LK Bennett and Dior as well as fashion shows for Qasimi and Gareth Pugh in London and Paris. Celebrity clients include Rihanna, Victoria Beckham, Florence Welch and Jude Law. Often called upon by Beauty editors for her expert advice, she is also the resident nail expert for Cult Beauty and a regular contributor to nail trade magazines as well as making an appearance on Wedding TV.
During her 12 years of industry experience Teresa has worked at Harrods where her manicures were in such high demand she had a four-week waiting list. Formally a qualified educator for CND, she has also worked in various top Mayfair and Knightsbridge salons including Bliss Spa on Sloane Avenue before going on to set up Nails at Work in 2007; a bespoke mobile manicure service catering for offices, corporate events and private parties across London and beyond. She now has a team of 12 manicurists and has amassed a wide range of clients including The Royal Academy of Arts, HSBC, Escada and Jimmy Choo.
Regarded by many as 'the best manicurist in London' her unique approach and vastly superior treatments has revolutionised the mobile manicure, placing Teresa firmly at the forefront of the beauty industry.
